After thinking about it, I think for the first meeting, it would make the most sense to watch one, perhaps two, of Dr. Brown's TED talks, rather than Hustle for Worthiness, which is almost an hour long. This will give us more time for discussion of how her work relates to each of us personally, the challenges we face, and how we can apply the work to each of us.
I'm hoping for some open and honest discussion, and from there, we can decide when and how to proceed with the next meetings. Possibilities include reading and discussing her books, working with her Connections Curriculum, watching the Hustle for Worthiness DVD, and choosing specific topics surrounding the wholeheartedness/shame resilience work.
As for meeting frequency, I'm thinking of meeting twice per month, but it depends on how often the group itself wants to meet, we could go more or less frequently.
