Fosters @ the meetup

We were hoping some of you who have foster pugs would be able to come to our next Pug Meetup. Seems like most people who adopt pugs already own one & the more attention your foster pug gets the faster they will get adopted. Please reply back and let us know if you can make it with your foster. We will make up name tags for them to wear. Even if you cannot come, please reply anyway because if there is someone attending who lives near by, maybe they would be willing to bring your foster along.  Here is the info about the next meetup, and if anyone has questions please do not hesitate to ask!  Thank you!! - Wendy

**AUGUST PUG MEET UP INFO** Sunday, August 19th from 2-3 pm. We will be at Sit Stay Dog Training, 1629 S. Meridian, on the back side of building. Indoor & air conditioned. $5 per person (excluded kids) donation requested but not required.  This goes to fund meetup events & pug rescue.

**ALL BOYS MUST HAVE BELLY BANDS** if you don't have one please let us know & we will try & have one for you, if you have extras to loan please bring them. They are sold at All Paws & major pet stores.  And they are VERY easy to make if you have a sewing machine. And you can just use a Poise or Maxi pad on the inside. The packages of those are much cheaper than the "dog pads" sold at pet stores & do the same thing. If you have never used one before we can point you in the right direction on how to make or where to get. On that same note-PLEASE keep an eye on YOUR pug & clean up all pee & poop your pug makes. The owner of facility is very particular about it. Plus if poop is not picked up as soon as its down another pug will step in it and get it all over. I know we all like to visit but sometimes it has been the only few people cleaning up after all the pugs, so if you can just keep an eye on your own it is appreciated. At least once they pooped you should be in the clear for the rest of the time, LOL! Contact me for any questions about belly bands,[address removed] or[masked]-7184. Please respond to belly band questions in a separate email, not a reply to this.

I will have pug buttons for sale again, $1 ea & black pug ones I ordered are done. Plus Jaki McElroy will be there to caricature drawings of your pug for you again! $5-black/white, $10 for color. If time runs out and she doesn't get to your pug she will try to be at the next one. Also if you want to be sure you get a drawing of your pug you may email a photo to Jaki @ -  [address removed] be sure to let her know if you want black/white or color. That way she will do it ahead of time and you can pick it up and pay her at the meetup. Cash only on buying buttons or getting pug caricature drawings.

For anyone who had never been to or heard of Puggerfest you will have to ask us for info! Its is a huge event in OKC thru Homeward Bound Pug Rescue w/ LOTS AND LOTS of Puggies! They have fun contests, raffles, and a silent auction. There is a hotel (La Quinta) in OKC that offers special room rates for anyone there for the event. Rooms run around $55 per night.

This is gonna be a PUG-tastic meetup! Can't wait to see everyone & their puggies!!
