Those who have lost a spouse or partner know there's no time limit to heal.

I'd like this group to meet for discussions on healing, expressing your grief, and attend outings to have a little fun with others who understand we don't have to smile all the time, that a flow of tears can come at any given moment, and we support each other in whatever mood we are in.

NorthShore University HealthSystem Hospice Sponsors Three Grief Support Groups
Groups are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. The groups are held at the NorthShore University HealthSystem Hospice office, 4901 Searle Parkway, Skokie, Illinois. * Legacy is an ongoing support group for adults who have experienced the death of a parent. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8 pm.
* Soul Mates is an ongoing support group for those who have experienced the dealth of a spouse or life partner. This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8 pm.
* Cross Roads is an ongoing support group for adults whose spouse died one year ago or more. Having addressed most of the major issues related to the death of a spouse, the focus of this group is to provide an environment in which to socialize with other people who have experienced a similar type of loss. Activities and topics discussed will be generated by the group. This group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1 - 2:30 pm.
