Wild Child Freeschool is an affordable nature-awareness program that seeks to build community through nature immersion, fun and learning. We started out in Silicon Valley offering weekday programs for homeschool families. We are now expanding our program to Santa Cruz families, and will be offering WEEKEND exploration days, and Permaculture learning days that are open to homeschoolers and schoolers alike! Founded on a cooperative model, the program is currently being built around input from parents and the individual needs and interests of the children. Locations include Henry Cowell State Park, Wilder Ranch State Park, Big Basin State Park, De LaVeaga Park, Permaculture gardens and variety of other lovely locations. Let's explore tide pools, pick Manzanita berries, plant a garden, write in nature journals, build shelters under giant Redwoods, and play team-building games!
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
