Calling all foodies … The Da Vinci Science Center presents an experience of a lifetime when world-renowned Bug Chef, David George Gordon, gives his unique cooking demonstrations to visitors of all ages.
Chef Gordon will lead adventurous appetites through a creepy, yet delicious, culinary tour filled with tarantulas, scorpions, snails, slugs, and many other crawly creatures. Participants can join Chef Gordon on stage and sample his creations. Chef Gordon also will be available to sign books, including the newest edition of The Eat-a-Bug Cookbook, which will be released shortly before his Da Vinci Science Center appearance and will be available for purchase in The Curiosity Shop.
The freewheeling Chef Gordon has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and Time magazine. He has performed at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Time Square, New York, N.Y., and has been a guest on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Nightline and The View. He also has been a guest speaker at the American Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Zoo, California Academy of Sciences, and many other prestigious venues.
