Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk

Lynn asked me to set up an official joint walk for people who may be interested in the medicinal aspects of wild plants as well as the edible ones. This is a chance for some of the other herbalists in the group to get some wild identification experience. But even if you aren't practicing herbalism it's fun stuff to know! I believe we will do our normal Lemon Hill walk, so we will meet on the patio of the Cosmic Cafe on The River Path.

Thanks for coming out to those who did. Not sure if we are going to be able to get another one in this season, some of the things we are used to seeing up there are already gone for the year. I wanted to add that I didn't realize that (i'm sorry I am horrible with names) someone was videotaping with the intent of reproducing the video. I would really appreciate if you did not reproduce the video since 1. I am not a professional and do not want a non researched video of me out there in the world of the internet and 2. I intend on producing videos myself in the near future. Thanks you and I hope you understand.

Beautiful day for a walk. Lindsey did a wonderful job helping us to identify wild medicinal plants and their uses! I really learned a lot!

Sorry I missed you guys today. I couldn't find parking b/c of the Rock n Roll half-marathon and arrived a half-hour late. I'll get there earlier next time.

I regret that I didn't participate as I rsvp'd. Too many things and bit enough time today~so I chose to get some things done. I'll bet I missed something great.

Hi! So, this is my first time leading a walk and it would be nice if we could keep attendance to adults of the human persuasion. Thanks!

I am going to try to get there but won't committ at this time because I just opened a "weekend brunch" at my Organic Green Cafe in Edgewater Park NJ www.whitebriarbedandbreakfast.com and am still training staff. If I can slip away, I'll be there with husband, Bill. thanks for keeping us on the list. We are so trying to do the Edible and Medicinal Plant walks.....L already eat the dandylion and wild onions, mulberries and want to learn more. Old Science Teacher we are, and we teach healthy living in our cafe every day...anyone who will listen..haha...see you there....

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
