Forage and Feast! part One: Identification and Utilization of wild plants.

Come join us for a weekend of discovery and fun! Learn how to recognize and utilize common plants in their natural environment, then harvest them and prepare them into delicious meals! Wild plants also have medicinal properties, and far more nutrients than their cultivated counterparts. Not only that, but they are free for the harvesting! And, you will be pleasantly surprised at how good they taste. You will also learn basic botany, how to recognize families and use that information to enable you to find plants on your own. This weekend we will be at Green Light Plants, in Landenberg, PA, where Dale and Carol Hendricks are kindly hosting these events on their permaculture-based property. See you there!

Workshop organized by Sarah Murray, wild plant connoisseur with 30+ years experience leading plant walks and survival trips in Europe and the US.

Thanks to the five people who showed up for this! We had a lot of fun. When I figure out how to upload my photos, I will do so!

    Hi Sara,
Just bring water, pen and paper for note-taking, phone/camera if you want pictures and maybe a snack if you need. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
