Berries in West Philly!!

Berry season is here! Come check out some of my favorite mulberry and juneberry spots around West Philly/University City. We'll meet at Green Line Cafe on Locust and go for a walk. All who are of age are also invited to my porch afterward for a berry cocktail. If you have a good recipe, please bring it to share.

For all of you West Philly people, we should be having another Cobb's Creek walk next week so come explore this awesome location with us!

Also, Philadelphia Orchard Project is having a Juneberry Harvest on Penn's campus this Wednesday so go get some berries and donate to support POP's work planting community orchards!

Hey everyone, sorry we got rained out! You can find juneberries south of Walnut on 46th, all over Penn's campus near 40th and Walnut and in Clark Park near 43rd and Chester. There are some great white mulberries behind 4525 Walnut Street, in Woodland Cemetery and anywhere there are vacant lots. Enjoy!
