Just wanted to remind everyone that many flowers are edible! Try daylillies and Rose of Sharon, which are blooming now! They are really good and crunchy just before they blossom. Also, it's best to pick in the morning. Learn more about what flowers you can eat from our Plant List - http://www.learnstuff.us/PlantLists.htm. Also, hosta leaves http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosta are also very edible and crunchy, although I don't have them listed in our field guide. Professional forager David Siller told me about it. I think hosta also would make a great wrap or disposable plate (of sorts)!
