Saturday, May 4, 2 PM:

Please forward to your Foodies group the information about the upcoming
talk by Wendy Hollender, illustrator of "Foraging and Feasting" at 2PM,
Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ. Admission is
$10. There is also a heritage plant sale (no ticket necessary) that day
from 10AM-5PM.

The 2PM talk is a presentation about delicious and nutrient-packed foods
that grow rampant in fields, forests, and backyards. Her three-year
foraging adventure has taken Wendy from field to forest, to the drawing
studio, and into the kitchen. As she sums it up, happily, “It’s been a
wild ride!" Wendy, the illustrator of Foraging and Feasting, a
combination field guide and cookbook scheduled to be out in June, and
Dina Falconi, the author, believe that everyone should have access to
culinary treasures. It was this enthusiasm for the forgotten skills of
recognizing edible wild plants and using them in the kitchen that
prompted this fantastically beautiful, and equally useful, book.
