I'm in PA, near Quakertown. I saw my first two monarchs of the season yesterday and one today. They were on my Swamp Milkweeds. Hopefully, they laid lots of eggs there!

So I let my pool flower bed grow up in the dozen or two wild milk weed pods, at my husbands, chagrin....and only have 6 or so little white butterflies which I think are moths or something....but no Monarch's....is their season coming.?????the flower of the milkweed is very sweet and fragrant and are now filling up but not opened yet and it's mid July in N.J.
when do we get the beautiful butterflies????
