Please get the "Edible Wild Plants: A North American Field Guide to Over 200 Natural Foods",Thomas Elias (Author), Peter Dykeman (Author)  This field guide has the necessary color photographs and info most of us need to identify wild edibles.  On Amazon it goes for as little as $10.   It doesn't have all the edibles, but no book does.

Munch on!
