Hi, I am interested in adventuring with others who share a deep spiritual connection to the outdoors. Thank you for this opportunity.
Yes. All perfectly reasonable.
I enjoy the challenges and rewards and communion of the trail. Backpacking is a team sport - it builds discipline, physical and mental prowess, community interdependence, comaraderie.
Depends on the terrain. Sometimes, yes. Not on a good hard uphill.
Eastern Canyons, Wallowas, Kalmiopsis, Olympic Penninsula - and others I don't know about.
I recharge by getting out in the wilderness. This is part of how I pray. I appreciate being with others who feel the same wonder and reverence and connection, and love that you want us to be co-creators in the community. Thank you :)
Echo, it was nice to meet you last night. I hope you join us again.
Hi Echo, glad you joined our group. Might run into you on Mt Theilson on our way down while your going up. What lake are you staying at? I can't think of one in the area.
Welcome to COB, Echo. Look forward to seeing you on the trail with us soon!
Hi, Echo --Met you a few years ago on a hike with Salem Meetup from Cannon Beach to the Arch. Looking forward to hikiing with you again this year!
Welcome to the group:)
Hello Echo hope to see you at the next CSI meeting on Thursday the 8th at 7:00pm. There are some awesome people that attend this group.
Hi, Echo--hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!
Hi Echo! I see you're a fellow dog person. I just joined the group--intending to relocate to Corvallis and just discovered there's a lot of poison oak in the area. I've gotten it badly before, while living in Chico, CA, due to my dogs bringing it back to me on their coats. Just how bad is it around there. We go hiking every day (it's our favorite activity) and the dogs need their off-leash time. Who else would know the real answer to this but another doggie hiker?!
Hello Echo, how do I change my name on my profile?
