Kayakers, Hikers, Backpackers &Cyclist looking for adventure

Wilderness Trekkers is a long established outdoor adventure club founded in 1995 & is based in the Central Fla area but we have over 250 members throughout the Florida peninsula as this is where a great number of our events take place. We are a multi-disciplined activities organization with a schedule that covers events nearly every week-end throughout the year. Kayaking & canoeing, hiking & biking, single-day or multi-day events occur frequently. We are a group that has a desire to enjoy the out of doors & are challenged by the adventure of exploring springs, trails, rivers, lonesome roads & the multitude of bikeways. We welcome first time folks that would like to just try us out by joining us as a guest on "open invitation" events.

NOTE! Wilderness Trekkers is NOT A MEETUP ORGANIZATION. We are organized and communicate through our own web site at http://www.wilderness-trekkers.org where we maintain a weekly schedule and perform correspondence.

The below scheduled event is our quarterly New Members Orientation. Trekkers will talk about the organization, events, history, and web site resources. You don't have to wait for this gathering to join or participant in current events. Please use the meetup RSVP feature to indicate to us to send you instructions about our Orientation event.
