Will be heading into the reserve very shortly is there anyone on route who is running a little late?

    October 26

  • Dani

Ok so my plan for tomorrow is that I will be there from about 9:45. If everyone meeting can be in the car park around 10:00. I would suggest we move off in smaller groups as one large group is likely to scare off any wildlife but maybe meet up at around 12:30 for a cuppa in the cafe? The reserve is open till 4:30 so you can all stay as long or as little as you would like. It says on the website that it is an optional £1 donation to park and £5 to get into the reserve.

Sorry Dani. I can't make this Sunday. Do I change my RSVP ?

    October 21

  • Dani

Ok so I appreciate its short notice but I am now free this Sunday so if anyone is available 10am Sunday morning in the car park at rainham? Not sure what if anything we will see but worth a try!

    October 20

    • Jonathan R.

This time of year you should see loads of different birds at Rainham Marshes.

      October 20

  • Dani

Ok tho one seems to have been up for a while with no one organising anything. I don't live far from here, and as there a lot of people interested would u like me to organise a day and time? I can pop in there and see what's going on over the next few weeks and maybe sort something out before the birds all start to migrate again?

    September 4

    • Dani

Hi sorry this has taken me so long to sort out but I'm struggling to find a weekend where I'm not working :( how would a mid week visit be for everyone?

      September 30

    • Mujammil

Mid-week would be difficult for me since I'm working all day including evenings. I do appreciate you making this happen though, Dani. Thanks.

Or Rye Meads 19th Jan? Does this group ever link in with the RSPB London meetup group? I think we should get them on board too. I am getting a car soon so if anyone fancies accompanying me Minsmere or Cley in Norfolk or maybe even Leighton Moss (I got a bit excited by Autumnwatch) in Jan then let me know!

    November 7, 2013

    • Dave L.

Jan 19th potentially difficult as I am expecting a serious hangover from a wine tasting night before. At this time of yera we have to set off early to get the light. What about Jan 26th? Anyone else in the group interested in these places/ dates?

MUTINY!!! Lets hijack the trip ;-)

    • Claire

That sounds good :-) I am a member of the Herts/Middlesex trust but not the London one.

      November 7, 2013

    • Jonathan R.

Claire, when you say Herts/Middlesex don't you mean the Wildlife Trust rather than WWT? Also, there is a reciprocal agreement across all Wildlife Trusts, so if you are a member of one you can visit sites owned by any of the others for free. Knowing that I actually joined Berks, Bucks and Oxon, where I grew up, rather than London or Middx where I live now.

What about Rye Meads on Sunday Jan 12th
    Rainham Marsh Sunday Feb 16th
    Wetlands Centre Sunday March 16th
Should please everyone and give us a great list of sites to visit.

does someone actually still organize this meetup group? The upcoming events have been on here for ages without out a date

Fair enough but that's actually something the organizers should do? It looks like they have lost interest in this meetup

      November 5, 2013

    • Jonathan R.

They're just ordinary people like you or me. Expect they also have busy lives like the rest of us. And one of them is paying the fees to Meetup for keeping this group open so lets thank them for that at least.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
