Fort Ross--Self Guided Meetup

This will be a self guided trip. I hope everyone has fun and gets some great shots.

This meetup may be canelled because of the weather. I will not attend.

Regular Day Use Fees (does not apply to special events):

  • $8.00 per car
  • $7 (senior)

This year's Harvest Festival will celebrate the agricultural traditions at Fort Ross. For our bicentennial Harvest Festival, we will have a special interpretive focus on the Fort Ross windmill, which is being reconstructed at Fort Ross thanks to a generous gift from Renova's Links of Times.

During the morning, help us gather the harvest in our orchard. At 1 o'clock join us at the windmill for an interpretive tour. Then, in the afternoon, within the walls of the fort, join us where we will be juicing, baking, making crafts, learning about 19th century agricultural efforts at Settlement Ross, and the group “Kedry” will share traditional Russian song and dance!

The full-size Russian-style windmill was built by artisan craftsmen in Russia who will travel to Fort Ross to oversee its installation in September.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
