One Billion Rising ~ An Event Sponsored by Womenspace, Inc

Rise up and dance, Eugene! Join us as we stand, rise, and dance with women and men in our community to end violence against all women in Lane County, and the world.

Womenspace along with many other agencies and community members in Lane County are rising up on 2/14/2013 at the Wheeler Pavillion in Eugene from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. All of Lane County is invited to join in and rise up for your sisters, your daughters, your mothers, your grandmothers and all the other women and girls in your life, along with our a
llies to stand against the violence against women and girls.

Go to and click on Find Event. Put your zip code in and when the event "Rise Up Eugene and Dance" comes up, RSVP to register for our event.

On the One Billion Risking homepage you'll find a video that teaches you the dance moves to the theme song. Dance practice is held at the River Road Park District on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM up to the night before our event. For more information, contact Cathy Casalegno at[masked]-4052.
