INSTEAD OF "Let's Learn About the Path" This will be great.

Grace and I have both been given an opportunity to present our art at the Eugene Interfaith Service. This service happens every month on the 11th of the month.

Another wonderful opportunity to show that as a religion Paganism is as legitimate as any other religion. Show up and support us as we share our art with the world. THEY WILL HAVE COOKIES!

Why Interfaith?

YOU DON'T FEAR THAT WHICH YOU UNDERSTAND
The CUUPs discussion group is designed to help people learn about the many Pagan pathways. The intention was to help people learn and grow. It was never intended to be 'an instead of'. Being Pagan is a way of life as well as a religion.

For as long as I have been actively Pagan (as in, knew it had a name and others did this stuff too) I have heard Pagans complain that this Path is not honored as a true religion by people who are not practicing Pagans.
Now that there is a group that does want to honor our religion as legitimate and an equal way to the divine, I see the same people refuse to take part.

CUUPs, as one of the few financially solvent Pagan groups that I know of, has in the past supported Interfaith with small financial donations. Contrary to what people have said they think about this group, it was started by a wonderful Sikh woman who was in her 7th decade. Suri unfortunately for us passed a year ago. Her husband (a Baha'i) is still a force that keeps it going. The Minister of the First Christian Church Dr. Daniel E. H. Bryant, a true man of God, kindly opened that beautiful sanctuary up for people of all faiths to meet, share, grow and find deeper understanding between them.

As we meet together we find allies within the more liberal of all Faiths. As we learn from each other we bless and are in turn blessed by others regardless of what name they call "Goddess/God", or how they see fit to ritually connect with said being.

So come and support us as we share "Sacred Art" among friends and soon to be friends in our community. See what a blessing it is to truly honor the "Web of All Life".

SEE YOU SUNDAY THE 11th OF AUGUST! BLESSED BE!

This was a good meting. Both Elan's and my art were will received,
a lot of people came up to get a closer look and talk with each of us about the art.
Elan brought "The Butterfly Tree" and I brought a print of "The Flower of Life Blue Window"

I am sorry so many of you missed this, there were many beautiful paintings. One of Quen yen was breathtaking.

I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it, I've been looking forward to this for weeks, but there was a passing in my immediate family and I had to fly back east. Hope you all have a lovely time. Break a leg Elan & Grace!

The Church is right next to Ta Ra Rin and excellent Thai Restraunt. We generally go over there after Interfaith and share a meal together. For those of you with kids (or Grandkids) Interfaith provides child care for those kids that are too young or too rambunctious to sit through a service.

This is a large group of good people, who welcome Pagans as one of the paths to a better, more peaceful world.

Come join us and see and hear about some interesting art.

    Blessed Be
