One of the UO Outdoor Program's annual traditions is hosting the Banff Mountain Film Festival. For over 35 years, 15 years in Eugene, the Outdoor Program has sponsored and held the Banff Mountain Film Festival at the historical McDonald Theatre in downtown Eugene. The Banff Mountain Film Festival is the world’s premier outdoor movie tour, showing outdoor and adventure films from around the world. Some films are 15 minutes, some an hour. UO Outdoor Program partners with prominent local and national outdoor companies to provide great raffle prizes to show patrons.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival will be April 17 & 18, 2014. Different films will be featured each night, so join us for both nights if you are able!
Tickets will go on sale on March 31, 2014 and will be available at the following co-sponsor’s shops: Backcountry Gear (1855 W 2nd Ave), REI-Eugene (306 Lawrence St.) andTactics (375 W 4th Ave), as well as the EMU Ticket Office and all TicketsWest outlets. Service fees apply at EMU/TicketsWest.
