Hiking - Mount Pisgah

A great hike close to Eugene that offers a gradual climb and some scenic views of the Willamette Valley.

Trail Info: The main trail is 3.0 miles round trip and has an elevation gain of 1000'. In comparison to Spencer Butte, which is 2.32 miles round trip with 800' of elevation gain.

Details: We will meet at the main trail, next to the gate and kiosk. We will hike up together, take some pictures at the top, and then head back down. Parking at Mount Pisgah is $4 per car, and an annual permit is available at REI, Bi-Mart, as well as other local outdoor stores. The permit also covers other parks in Lane County. Great purchase if you hike often.

Please dress accordingly and bring water, a snack, and small pack. Bring a friend if you would like.  Dogs are welcome, if on leash.

Thank you Jackie, I will keep that in mind for next time. I summited once at Spencer Butte. I was hard but I felt so great when I made it to the top. And Marilyn, if Spencer feels steeper, I will definately give Pisgah a try soon! Thanks ladies.
