Biking - Willamette River Trail

Eugene has a scenic bike trail that runs along the Willamette's bank on both sides. It makes for a fun filled and scenic loop that is flat and enjoyable for everyone. We will meet at the bridge between Maurie Jacobs Park and Valley River Center. It is located behind the mall's movie theater. Maurie Jacobs Park is also accessible from River Road, near Railroad Blvd., for those of you possibly coming from the west. We will then ride along the north bank, through Alton Baker Park, out to the bridge that crosses by Autzen Stadium and the soccer fields and back.  The loop will make for about a 5 mile ride.  Be sure to also dress accordingly for wet weather.

For the winter evening bike rides, please dress for colder weather and have a bike light and headlamp, if possible.

It's cold dark & wet out & I'm cutting it short on time -- I think I will skip it too :) Next time maybe

I'm not going tonight, but others can still go if they would like.

Matthew, if it's snowing will you still be biking?

I will know later today. If it is just light snow, I will, but if it is icy, then I don't think I would.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
