Hometown: New York, NY
January 12, 2013
Ive been playing poker pretty consistently for about 5 years after taking a long break. I moved to Williamsburg in 2004 and I really enjoy it here, but I dont like having to travel 2+hours to Atlantic City or Foxwoods to play in a fair, reliable, honest, professionally run poker game. Many home games in NYC are poorly run and/or are and shady. My game is a group of friends who have been playing for years and have figured out what works: Only invite back people who are friendly and fun to play with, no matter their sex, age, race, or ethnicity. In my game, players respect one another as people: even if you dont respect someone's crazy playing style, keep your cool and practice good poker etiquette.
I play a few nights a week when Im not busy running my music studio, ebay business or out DJing or partying. I played dorm room stud games 15 years ago, but my real poker education started off 5 years ago just playing Texas Holdem like most players. Eventually I improved because I have a passion for the game and Im a competitive person, and finally became a decent player. Now I play all poker games, some quite poorly (like Razz or Badugi), but my two favorite are definitely No Limit Texas Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha.
Hi my name is Chris and I love to play poker. I started my own game out here in Williamsburg Brooklyn after becoming dissatisfied with the quality and integrity of other NYC poker games. I dont like playing with rude players and shady characters!
Great action us usual
