I have always been interested in birding, but especially since I moved to Williamson County. I bought a home in a rural area, and have seen many 'new' wild birds that I know little or nothing about.
I would like very much to learn about identifying wild birds, learning about what they like to eat, identifying the night time predatory visitors by their call, and learning about the different requirements/preferences for creating birdhouses and/or nesting sites to attract a variety of wild birds to my backyard.
Perhaps after I learn more about what true birding is, and learn about identifying wild birds and their habitat/nesting/feeding preferences.
I love birds of all kinds. I am owned by a companion parrot named Fred that I adopted about 4 years ago. I enjoy feeding wild birds, and have many trees/shrubs that I planted to provide roosting, safety, and shelter for them.
