Announcing a new Meetup for Williamson Audubon Group!
What: Webberville Field Trip
When: Saturday, February 6,[masked]:00 AM
Webberville, TX 78653
We will meet at Little Webberville Park to begin our field trip and then explore Big Webberville Park. Both are located on a riparian corridor (Guadalupe River) and we can expect birds that prefer this habitat--woodpeckers, flickers, warbler etc. I have never birded either of these parks and would welcome anyone who has to lead this trip. Please contact me if you are interested. The trip is open to all levels of birding and we encourage those novice birders to join us to begin learning the species of our area.As always dress for the conditions, wear comfortable shoes, bring bug spray, sunscreen, water and a lunch, binoculars, notepad and pen. A camera if you like.
From the intersection of Hwy. 183 and FM 969, take FM 969 east approximately 15 miles into the town of Webberville. Turn right onto Water Street and proceed to the park entrance. NOTE: This is a different park than the Webberville Park located approximately three miles east of town.
