At one level, Reiki is a traditional method of sharing healing energy, but the original meaning of the word "Reiki" refers to "Universal healing energy", which is expressed in many different traditions, using different words and forms. In this meetup we start with a structure based on the Reiki tradition, but emphasize the intuitive guidance each person brings, and welcome elements from all healing traditions. This is a great opportunity to experience and share Healing Energy. It's not a formal class on the traditions of Reiki, we usually start with a flexible time of questions, sharing of concerns & ideas, then a guided "grounding" meditation or chant, and then spend the bulk of the time taking turns giving and receiving Healing Energy. Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to participate, whether you have had formal Reiki training, or other forms of healing, or just need a tune-up!
