This is a group for busy people who like to walk for exercise but need some motivation to get up and do it! If you are like me, you need walking buddies and a regular walking schedule!
Right now we are offering a fast walk where we get in about 3.5 miles in an hour, and a slower walk where we cover about 2.0 miles. The fast walk is Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 PM. The time goes by quickly because everyone is talking. The slower walk is still getting its legs and we haven't settled into a regular schedule. Keep checking the calendar to see what's coming up.
The primary focus is to offer a regimen where we can walk a few miles a couple times a week in a short amount of time. It has turned out to be a very friendly group, so besides healthy exercise, we are making new friends and having a great time.
