Walbury Hill Wayfarer's Walk 10 Miles (Berkshire)

Just outside of the Wiltshire boundary, this walk starts at the Walbury Hill car park, and heads along the Wayfarer's Walk trail along Inkpen Hill, Ham Hill and Rivar Hill when we leave the route and head south to Henley, Venham Row and stopping for a pint at Vernham Dean. After getting refreshed we head north via Vernham Street to Linkenholt and Combe Hill joining the car park at Walbury Hill. We will do more of the Wayfarer's Walk on future walks.

Walbury is the highest chalk hill in England (http://www.visitnewbury.org.uk/thedms.aspx?dms=13&venue=2975863)

Murky day took the edge off a bit but we checked the area out and enjoyed a stop at the Swan Inkpen to avoid the worst weather for ages. Nice walk for the summer with a few mods.

Dean is coming over to mine and we'll see you there at 9:30. Hope you've got some legs left after yesterdays effort!
