In 1940 my Dad sent my Mom a pineapple Kamaka from Honolulu and since it was around the house I learned a few chords. After many years it was repaired and I am playing it now-along with some other instruments which are becoming quite a collection. I love the sound and literature of the uke, and of course playing and singing with others.
Aloha, Dorothy Unsicker here. I live in Napa and have been active in performing arts , mainly at Napa Valley College over the last few years. I was happy to learn about Napa Valley Flea Jumpers. I have met so many musicians with other connections.
This will be a good way to communicate as there are many events to consider.
