Explore Explorer's Favorite Explorations

We're all wine explorers and we've all had our fair share of wine in our life so far.  But the real question is which ones stood out?  Since I like to choose a theme for each time we get together, the theme for this meetup will be to simply share our favorites.  Whether it's red, white, rose, hot, cold, bubbly, something you buy all the time, or maybe something you've never had before but you're in love a particular style and want to try a new bottle that supposedly fits the profile... whatever.  The only rule is that it's something *YOU* like (or think you'll like).

Obviously this only works if we have some favorites to share.  I will start us out by having 3-4 wines here that I really like... 2 red and 1 white for sure, but I might go grab another red that I'm thinking of, if I can find it.  I encourage you all to bring some wine with you so that we have plenty to taste.  "Favorite" is up for interpretation of course.  It could mean high quality, special occasion wine that you think tastes amazing... or it could mean the best bang for your buck as a cheap delicious value.  So feel free to share the expensive stuff (please do!) but if you found a $9 bottle that knocks your socks off then that's worth sharing too!  Two of my favorites that I'll share with you fit into each category as one of my favorite "everyday" wines and one of my favorite "I don't like spending this much on ONE bottle" wines.

This meetup will take place at our private residence which also houses cats (an important note to those allergic).  Please text me or call me if you need the exact address [masked]).  Sometimes I'm bad/slow with email so texts and calls are definitely quicker.  And since I get this question a lot:  everyone should feel free to bring snacks for themselves or to share.

I may be a little late as I'm doing some volunteer work up in Pine that day, but I'm pretty sure we'll be back in time.

We're in! David and I can meet you at 6 pm at the Rivera if that works. My cell is[masked]-1924. I'm working from the room this afternoon - but think I should be done and in need of fun by then!

We'll try and bring a cracker/cheese/bread plate of sorts. All from TJ's or Sprouts.

We'll bring the semi-sweet Hungarian from TJ's that Leisha mentioned last time we were there.

I wish we could make it. We are running a 5k Sunday morning at 5:30am. So wine probably shouldn't be our Saturday night diet :)

Darn....we are going to have to pass again this time. We have another birthday party to go to. We are really looking forward to meeting up with everyone again, though.

    Have fun!

Bummer, we are going to the PHX Symphony that night, starts at 7:30 PM. Maybe we can come by afterwards?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
