Let's explore the small wine makers (Vignerons Indépendants)

This is the time of the year when many (many many) wine makers from all over France come to Paris and let us taste their products.
It's a great opportunity to taste wine, get to know new appellations that we don't know yet, talk to the wine makers and buy wine (if you want) for very reasonable prices!!!
You will get a wine glass at the entrance and walk around tasting wine… if you like it and you want it, you can buy it. If you don’t, you just move to the next one…

I will be preparing a list of recommendations and give you a quick explanation, so if you have no idea about what to chose don’t worry.
If you want to make your own choices, you may make your list and map on the following site :
http://www.vigneron-independant.com/auxsalons/recherche.php?changesalon=182&salon=Paris

We will split into smaller groups (3-4) as the stands are very small and being one big group will not allow you to talk with the wine makers (some actually speak English).

I have invitations to let you in for free and get your wine glass but please be on time because once we entered, I am not sure that I will be able to come and let you in (which means that you will have to buy your entrance).

I know it’s a working day and I know it’s early, but Thursday is the best day to come…the wine makers are still full of energy and there aren’t too many people so they have more time to talk with the visitors … (and also I will be working Fri/Sat/Sun so I don't have a choice)

For those of you who have a Smartphone...

There is an application for this wine-fair that will enable you to find wine-makers or appellations that interest you.

It gives selections by medals, organic wine, and a selection from the French wine revue (Revue des vins de Frances) etc…

    You’ll find it on : http://vigneron-independant.com/actualites.php?idActu=243
    See you soon…
