Announcing the New Wine Elite Website

Dear Members of the Wine Society (Wine Elite) San Diego,

The Wine Elite currently offers blind-tasting events in three counties -- OC, Los Angeles and San Diego. Besides our structured and sommelier-led wine appreciation dinners, we have been covering private events and wine seminars as well.

Due to the fact that many of our members, in addition to being "students of wine" like all of us, have a strong wine background and are certified by one of the leading wine societies, the Wine Elite is becoming a great pool of expertise and education that we want to build out to live up to the mission of becoming "The Premier Wine Appreciation Forum" in the region.

To take it to the next step, we have developed a new website that combines all our activities, and features all upcoming events of all 3 regions. Please check out the new official website that will complement the current Meetup setup:

www.WineElite.org

On the new website you will find wine reviews of future sessions, philosophical essays on the world of wine, access to wine and cheese expertise resources, including partner sommelier profiles. We will also offer a growing set of incentives for members, including significant retail discounts (ask about the discounts we already provide to members for Hi-Time wine store, and our preferred pricing for professional wine storage), access to cult wines at low prices, as well as free tickets to trade tastings and festivals.

Please take a look at the new site, feel free to provide feedback, and PLEASE link the site to your facebook or your home page. You can RSVP for our wine events as usual on Meetup, and also on the new website.

Thanks for being part of the growing Wine Elite movement and the wider group of serious wine lovers in Southern California.
