Why travel to Napa? There are over twenty wineries scattered throughout the beautiful state of Connecticut and each offers something different. Let's plan to visit one winery per month and when possible, coordinate the visit with a winery event, such as live music or a food pairing seminar. This group is for anyone who enjoys wine, has a desire to explore Connecticut and is interested in meeting people with similar interests.

GROUP POLICIES

• Our group is now private. Non-members can see the titles of upcoming events but they CAN NOT see members names and event locations. This has been done for the privacy, safety and security of our members.
• We now require current, close-up, recognizable and full-face photos as THE MAIN PROFILE PICTURE for ALL members. We will not allow anyone to join the group without meeting this requirement. We will not allow existing members who do not meet this requirement to attend events. This is to make our members feel safe and comfortable when attending an event.  If you RSVP for an event but have not met this requirement it will be at the discretion of the organizer to remove you from the RSVP list. We will try to notify you first, but this may not always be possible, so it is your responsibility.
• If you have not RSVPd for an event, YOU MAY NOT ATTEND the event. If you show up for an event and are not on the organizers list of RSVPs it is at the discretion of the event organizer to allow you to attend. This is to provide our members with a safe and comfortable experience.
• Event fees, which help offset the costs associated with running this group (Meetup subscription fee, PayPal fees & incidentals, plus actual ticket prices when applicable) are posted on individual event pages and must be paid in advance. Our goal is to break even, although we often run a deficit. If you do not have a PayPal account alternate payment arrangements may be available. Contact the organizer in advance to inquire.
• No shows will not be tolerated, period. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from attending an event for which you have RSVPd "yes" it is your responsibility to reach out to the organizer as soon as reasonably possible to avoid being removed from the group. Members who do not follow this guideline will be removed from the group without advance notice.
• LEGAL DISCLAIMER: BY RSVPing "Yes" for any event, you agree, warrant, and covenant as follows: In consideration for accepting this entry, I, the registrant and my guest(s), intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, my executors and administrators, do waive and release any and all rights for damages I may have against any parties or persons connected with the CT WINE TRAIL MEETUP GROUP for and related to events which I attend. I attest and verify that I am physically fit to participate in any portion of said event(s). I grant THE CT WINE TRAIL MEETUP GROUP permission to use any photographs, film or videotapes of any event for any purpose.
