Love Dry wines esp.red, and Champagne.
Danya - Wednesdays seems to work the best/easiest in terms of seating availability, reservation issues and etc... More importantly, the establishments are more willing to accommodate a larger group on Wednesdays since they have less patronage. By Thursdays and Fridays, restaurants get busy and crowded so they do not need to accommodate so much since the public is willing to go out and eat out as the weekend approaches.
Danya - I've scheduled previous HH on Tuesdays. End result: not fruitful. Many folks don't show up b/c they find it too early in the week to do HH i.e. citing reasons of still recovering from weekend partying and on and on...
Thanks for joining East Oahu Ohana. No membership dues here. First group meetup 5/18 at Maile's Thai Bistro for dinner or just appetizers or just drinks and conversation. It's a White Party, I received your RSVP, so wear white and we'll see you there! I love Happy Hour events too! There are a few on East Oahu, but the hours are early in the afternoon. I will be working with a few places for extended drink specials to run longer than the standard happy hour. Stay tuned...
We do not have a fee for joining our group. You can come tonight but you have to join the group in order to get more info. After you join, I will send you the address and the other information in a separate email.
If not tonight, hope to see you at a future event.
