Southington Apple Harvest Festival

I love the Apple Harvest Festival! It's their 45th year. Lots of great food, carnival rides if you'd like, drinks, etc. And the fireworks are at 9pm. I figured we could do a little bar hopping afterwards if anyone is interested.

As the date gets closer I'll pick a meeting spot. Parking is a bit tedious. So plan to arrive early and pay to park at the YMCA or another paid lot.

What their website has to say:

Situated around the beautiful Southington Town Green, the Apple Harvest Festival is a family-oriented event which attracts an estimated 100,000 visitors annually. Over the course of two weekends each autumn, the festival offers a wide variety of live music & entertainment, food, contests, crafts, children's activities, carnival rides and more. Also highlighted each year is our parade, an arts & crafts show and a spectacular evening fireworks display.

I had fun with a bunch of my other friends because SEVERAL OF YOU DID NOT SHOW UP. But no worries, Jasmine kept me company for a while before I was able to meet up with some others.

I'll be in line at the apple fritter booth around 6:10. I'm wearing orange/salmon and my hair is long blonde and straight. I'm looking for parking now.

Hey everyone, if you are going to arrive right around 6, let's plan to meet around the apple fritter booth and/or near Subway. At the intersection of Main St (Route 10) and Center St. My cell is[masked]-6590. Call if you can't find me. Please let me know sometime tomorrow if you plan on meeting then at 6 or if you'll be joining later.

I'm on the parade committee (which is the next day) so I'll be a bit busy that night, but will be downtown, in and around the parade chairperson's trailer on the green - hopefully will see you guys there....
