In Cold Blood... Truman Capote

K, so not much of a holiday-like warm/squishy title... but despite the gruesome title, and the ever more gruesome act that the story revolves around, it actually sounds like a deeply engrossing psychological adventure first and foremost. What better fodder for fascinating conversations!

In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote

From Amazon:

"If all Truman Capote did was invent a new genre--journalism written with the language and structure of literature--this "nonfiction novel" about the brutal slaying of the Clutter family by two would-be robbers would be remembered as a trail-blazing experiment that has influenced countless writers."

Despite knowing the basic outcome, this book kept me in suspense as various plot twists revealed true characteristics of the murders, and true motives... or at least as close to the truth as you and me are going to get!

Can anyone host a second meeting for this book? There is a lot of interest in this book and I'd love for everyone to get the chance to discuss it. Let me know...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
