Update 5/29/08: Please note the new start time (7:00) I've started it slightly earlier but latecomers are always welcome so feel free to come in anytime. Sandy and I met with the owner this evening and she is looking forward to having us. We won't be doing a full menu but rather a more extensive menu of appetizers and some desserts. There should be something on there to please everyone. I've looked at their wine menu as well. They have a selection of 8 or 9 wines by the glass and a larger selection of bottles, some of which are quite inexpensive. Just like some of us did at Chez Sophie, feel free to find a small group of people and order a bottle together. We will be doing "pay as you go" with the alcohol, so please bring cash if at all possible. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

In an attempt to post the location as soon as possible for those who need to make arrangements, I am listing the location as 333 Cafe in Delmar. Sandy and I have eaten there and spoke to the owner about having an event at their location. They are closed on Mondays but seemed more than willing to open for us. The food we had was absolutely delicious and the ambiance is nice as well.

Sandy and I will be contacting the owner as soon as possible to sit down with her and work out the details. If anything changes, I will update the event as soon as I know something.

As always, when you RSVP, please try to avoid "Maybe" RSVPs as much as possible! I know sometimes it is necessary. The "Maybes" make it difficult for me to make reservations if I have to guess how many people might be there, and I hate to have the venue prepare for one number and then we have significantly less people show up. Thanks!

    A little warm...but other than that I had a wonderful time. The location was great and the food was excellent. Conversation wasn't too shabby either :)
