Welcome to Winnipeg Christian Singles 35 -50’s. The goal of this new group is to provide opportunities for ministry, fellowship, and friendship among single Christians aged 35-50's in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. This is a non-denominational group, however the foundation is that all members believe that Jesus is the son of God, he died on the cross to redeem our sins, he was resurrected on the third day, and that Jesus will return again for us.

As well, we hope that this group will fill in the gap if:

* your church doesn't have a singles ministry

 * your singles ministry doesn't have regular activities

 * the singles ministry in your church is mainly outside your age range

* you don't have a church home

 * you want to meet new people and make new friends

 Meetups include dining out, museums, seminars, karaoke, dancing, hiking, volunteering, movies, potlucks, bible studies, book club, cultural events, church events, and much more. I am confident that there are gifted individuals who would like to express their creativity. If you are interested in being part of a team come on board as “many hands make light work”. And if you are interested in hosting a Christian singles meetup, please email the organizer or co-organizer. And last but not least, pray, pray, pray for this group, that all members are blessed and we always glorify God in everything we do. 

Are you afraid of being the "new person” or “too shy” to attend your first event?  Please send us an email and express your concerns to us.   I know first hand how hard it can be to show up at an event not knowing a single soul.   We will connect you with a person who can meet you at the event, show you around, introduce you to people and help you feel comfortable.   

Please Note: I ask for a nominal fee of $2 at each meetup.  This helps to cover the cost of the monthly fees I pay to be on meetup and for set up costs for meetup events. 

GROUP GUIDELINES 

1.      We will treat each other with respect and be especially respectful of each person’s choice of church.  This is not a meetup to push one church’s agenda onto another.   It’s a group of followers of Jesus to establish positive friendships.

2.      As a courtesy to all members, those who don’t post a picture of themselves within 15 days of joining Winnipeg Christian Singles 35-50’s will be taken off the group.

3.      This is not a political group.  Members may have political views, but as a group we will not participate in political campaigns or projects.

4.      We will respect each others values, all gatherings in private homes are alcohol free.  We have the opportunity to show that Christians know how to have FUN !!
