Drinking Skeptically occurs on the second Tuesday of the month.
A regular opportunity to socialize with other skeptics, catch up on local news, and just have a good time in a fun, relaxed environment.

I meant to mention this: Mark, as our treasurer, I think you should approve a one-time expenditure to buy Ashlyn a better podcasting headset or mic. No offence, Ashlyn, but it's pretty garbled sometimes! :)

I didn't know I was that bad! Didn't notice anything on my end. Is it better when I use my iphone headphones? I won't turn down a new mic though...
I'm not sure, to be honest. It may also just be the fact that you were on WiFi. We can test it out next time.
(I always plug us in to Cat 5 cables to avoid WiFi issues.)
Hello, unfortunately I have to work late and will be unable to join tonight's event, sorry for the late notice. I hope to make it out to the next one. Thanks.
Called in to work. Unable to attend

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
