Drinking Skeptically

No speaker this month. We're all recovering from SkeptiCamp!

A regular opportunity to socialise with other skeptics, catch up on local news, and just have a good time in a fun, relaxed environment. Consumption of alcohol is neither required nor discouraged.

Some new faces and good conversations. Laura is a hoot. She provided an impromptu talk about Celiac disease which was quite enlightening and entertaining.

There is only one night a month when I have a standing engagement (for ten years running now) and that is the first Tuesday of each month. I know it's difficult to please everybody as to a night but I thought we would be given a chance to vote on several choices and I know I wasn't informed about it. We were only asked to name several nights that would okay for us. If given a choice, I would have picked the second Monday or Tuesday. I am upset about this but I guess I'm screwed, aren't I? I'll really miss these get-togethers.

So we're having a second DS in a week? Or do you mean starting in November?

I would love to do a little spiel. Is there a form I need to fill out or someone I should get in touch with. I need to practice if I want to do skepticamp next year :)

Send a message to Scott Carnegie. He's in charge of speakers for DS.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
