Question everything. Look at the evidence, avoid falling into traps like logical fallacies as often as you can, and remember to admit when you're wrong. Skepticism is about constantly learning!
Because I think it's important to live in reality rather than in a fairytale, much as I love fantasy novels and medieval recreation. I would never want to believe something because it's comforting rather than face the truth of the situation.
I recently finished my biology degree and am currently looking for work in the wide world of lab monkeying. I play in the local chapter of the SCA, I sing in the Rainbow Harmony Project, I make jewelry and I read a lot in my spare time.
