Hi Dave. This group looks cool. I'd love to learn some tips on uke from you all sometime. Besides guitar and ukulele (new to me) I like to dabble in other off-the-beaten path instruments like a melodica, chalameau, jaw harp, spoons - maybe I could add something to the group. I'll watch for future meetings.
I just called the Altamonte Panera store and asked about availability of their community for May 3 at 6:30-8:30 - it is available so we are penciled in but can cancel if we make other arrangements. There is no room rental fee, but they do require a food order totaling at least $50. Let me know what you think. If we can get 6 members to commit and buy food that should cover the $50. Talk to you soon,
Aloha braddah Dave, welcome to the Space Coast Ukulele Club. I also joined your club and am sorry that I could'nt make our 1st Meetup, out of state. I have members who are just starting out of the gate and thats who I consider a beginner. You'll find our members fun to be with and always friendly to each other. Our next Meetup is a 1st for us, at a park. Hope you can make it, if not I'm sure we will meet soon. Thanks again for joining our club and see you soon, Elika Kaiwi
You too Dave. Looking forward to playing lots of songs together.
There is a uke group at George's Music in Orlando monthly off Intl. Dr. near Wet and Wild. There are at least three uke players at the 3rd. Weds. monthly at the Central Florida Fingerstyle Guitar Group meeting at Winter Park Library across from Rollins College .
