4 week Mindfulness Meditation Course (July)

A four week course specifically designed combining elements of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help people cultivate greater wellbeing and bring calm into their busy lives. Dates are 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd July.

Session 2: Living in Our Heads and Keeping the Body in Mind

The body as an emotional radar and warning system

The body reveals the being mode

Training and Attention


Session 3: Thoughts are not Facts - Freedom from the Thinking Mind

Thoughts, feelings, behaviours and emotions - how they relate

Interpretation of situations

Mental traps - inner critic

Not following thoughts but learning to observe them


Session 4: Responding Skilfully to Stress

Being mode and responding skilfully to stress
