Ozaukee Interurban Trail

Join us for a ride on the
Ozaukee Interurban Trail from
Mequon to
Port Washington. We'll have lunch at
Dockside Deli, overlooking the marina on Lake Michigan in Port Washington, before returning to Mequon. The total distance for the ride is
about 34 miles. Riding will be at a
casual pace. The trail has a
paved surface and is suitable for any bike. The trail is mostly off-road, but there are small sections of the trail that follow lightly-traveled roads through Cedarburg and Grafton.
Plan to arrive by 10:00 AM. We will push-off promptly at 10:30 AM.
Our ride will begin from the parking lot of the Logemann Community Center, located on the north side of Mequon Road, just west of Cedarburg Road. The parking lot is right next to the trail.

Had a great time on the ride. We had a great group of riders. Enjoyed Port Washington and walking on the breakwater out into the lake. A few of us rode further north on the trail to Belgium and met with a local (Allan, who rode with us back to Mequon) who said the trail went a lot further, so we'll have to explore this trail more in the future.

A wonderful ride, and huge thanks to Lauren and Ron for all the bike help! Came in with a flat tire and a bolt missing from my bottle holder, and these guys took care of everything. I enjoyed riding with you as always and meeting new friends today as well. Next time, Lauren, I will use sunblock...ouch!
