Join us for dinner and a 30-mile night ride on the Madison trail system.  Our route will be a loop of several paved trails, including the Badger State TrailCapital City State Trail, the John Nolen Path and the Southwest Commuter Bike Path.

Schedule:

6:30 PM - Meet at The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. in Fitchburg for dinner.  This restaurant is right next to the Capital City State Trail.

8:00 PM - Gather in the parking lot of the restaurant for the ride.  Setup our bikes and make sure our lights are working properly.

8:24 PM - Sunset

8:30 PM - Ride!

8:58 PM - End Civil Twilight

For safety reasons, the ride is limited to those at least 18 years of age.  Also, the ride will be canceled if it is raining or threatening to storm.  Everyone should be prepared for the cooler temperatures of the evening.

A front, white headlight visible for at least 500 feet and a rear, red taillight visible for a distance up to 600 feet are mandatory to participate in this ride.

Please note in your RSVP if you are planning to join for dinner, the night ride, or both.

Trail Pass Information

Note: A Wisconsin state trail pass is required to ride on portions of the Capital City State Trail.  We will stop at a self-service kiosk to allow anyone to purchase a trail pass if needed.

Something new this year...doing the ride on Sunday, rather than Saturday, so that everyone can spend more time in Pardeeville and visiting the Amish shops on Saturday.
