Join us for a ride on the Ozaukee Interurban Trail from Mequon to Port Washington. We'll have lunch at Port Washington's Port Fish Day, The World's Largest One Day Outdoor Fish Fry, and we'll walk through the festival grounds before returning to Mequon.

The total distance for the ride is about 34 miles, 17 miles to Port Washington and 17 miles back to Mequon.  Riding will be at a casual pace. The trail has a paved surface and is suitable for any bike. The trail is mostly off-road, but there are small sections of the trail that follow lightly-traveled roads through Cedarburg and Grafton.

Note: This is a very easy bicycle ride, so we encourage everyone to join us, especially new members and those who have not yet joined us for a ride.

Click on the years for photos from previous rides. (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Plan to arrive by 10:00 AM. We will push-off promptly at 10:30 AM.

Our ride will begin from the parking lot of the Logemann Community Center, located on the north side of Mequon Road, just west of Cedarburg Road. The parking lot is right next to the trail.

Hello.....I thought you all would like to know the
caboose made it back home. Also, my first time ride with the group...... from a distance. :) Thanks to Lauren for being a great leader and meticulous in seeing everybody was taken care of and Mary also for riding at my level, carpooling and a good time.
Today I am resting , tomorrow I will be easing back in the saddle.

Great ride! Like the trails and the pace, and Lauren kept us on schedule and organized. At least as organized as crazy bikers can be. Thanks Lauren! You are great! Will do this ride again.

As far as the construction it is the Zoo interchange so I-94 and Hwy 45 area. So if you get on 18 that will help, but that will get crowded in Milw/ West Allis area. Best to get more North if coming from the West.

The DOT web site should have instruction, or check local Milwaukee tv stations sites.
