Join us for a 25-mile ride along the
Glacial Drumlin State Trail, an abandoned rail corridor, offering an easy ride over flat terrain. We'll ride on the paved portion of the trail, doing an out-and-back ride to the east end of the trail in the town of Waukesha. We'll stop for lunch on our way back to Dousman.
LeDuc's Frozen Custard is a local favorite, offering a variety of sandwiches and, of course, delicious frozen custard! After lunch, we'll ride for a few more miles to return to Dousman. For those who want to get in more miles after we get back to Dousman, we'll also go for a road ride. The road ride will offer options to ride either 10 or 26 miles over rolling terrain. A cue sheet and map will be provided to all riders, allowing riders to break up into groups according to their individual riding pace.
Note: A Wisconsin state trail pass is required to ride on the Glacial Drumlin State Trail. We will start our ride at Bicycle Doctor, where you may purchase either a daily or annual trail pass.
Plan to arrive between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. We will push-off promptly at 10:30 AM.
Directions: Take I-94 to WI 67. Exit south on WI 67 to US 18. Turn right on US 18 and follow the signs to Dousman. Turn left on Main Street, which will take you into downtown. The Bicycle Doctor will be on your right.
