I am attending the Wisdom 2.0 conference in Silicon Valley in Feb 2012. The Wisdom 2.0 Conference is a one-of-a-kind event in Silicon Valley that brings together people from a variety of disciplines, including technology leaders, Zen teachers, neuroscientists, and academics, to explore how we can live with deeper meaning and wisdom in our technology-rich age. The purpose of the group is to bring together likeminded people in London (even if they are not attending the conference) to discuss ways in which we can create a better society through the use of internet technologies. I am personally interested in finding ways that technology can be used to facilitate the transfer of wisdom from the elderly to the teenagers in society. These are the two groups of society that are the groups that can learn the most from each other but are often disconnected. Let's create a revolution within ourselves, within communities and within society. All welcome.

I am seeking to hold the meetup in a conference room (in Central London) as I will be playing a short video to introduce the background to Wisdom 2.0 to spark off a dialogue which we can continue through 2012. I am planning to be finish by 8.30pm, and head off to a pub afterwards if there is interest. Please only rsvp if you can commit to attending, as space is limited.
