Talk about Middle Eastern countrie's severe penalties for non-belief

One would have thought the arrival of the 21st century would have moderated religious ferver in the US. How the US resembles in small and even large ways the words and actions of "believers" in America and the Middle East, as well as how the new and coming generations will alter the position, (dare I say "resepect?) for Free Thinkers and skeptics in the coming decades as they move inexorably towards a majority.

The religious far right already have a problem, a big problem accepting an Africal-American as president. What will happen as we approach the religious attitude of the Scandanavian countries and especially Denmark. It will happen, just not in my lifetime, sadly.
