Are you a free-thinker?

Ken H.
Decatur, TX
Post #: 71
Are you a person who does not allow tradition, society or government to control your mind, voice or pen?

Are you a person who lives a life based on observation, reason, evidence, and simple human morality rather than on what you are told to believe?

Do you refuse intimidation or pressure to limit your mind, voice, pen, and especially resist any and all efforts to imprison your mind and life to limit or shackle you to narrow pre-defined channels?

Then you, my friend, by definition are a free-thinker and a person whose philosophical viewpoint holds that beliefs should be formed on the basis of reason and personal observation, but foremost by evidence and science, uninfluenced by any theological authority, tradition or dogma. You are in good company; Voltaire, Thomas Paine, Ernest Renan, Albert Einstein, Thomas Henry Huxley, Robert Ingersoll, Ernst Haeckel, Arthur Hugh Clough, and Stephen Hawkin, George Holyoake among many others, including many in the local Wise County area. Welcome to the limitless free-thought universe.
