Just 90-years ago this coming October 6 that Edwin Hubble proved that the fuzzy, spiral-shaped swarm of stars known as M31 Andromeda, called a "Nebula" or gas cloud that was accepted to be within the Milky Way was actually another galaxy . Hubble calculated the distance to be over nine-hundred-thousand light-years distant from Earth. It was reported in National Geographic and reasoned that if Andromeda was a separate galaxy, then the other visible "nebulae" were galaxies as well; the known universe suddenly ballooned in size.

Not only was Earth removed from the center of the universe, we were simply another planet (wanderer) among many hundreds of billions of wanderers in yet another hundreds of billions of galaxies. Creationists became unhinged and remain so to this day.

Creationists became unhinged and remain so to this day.
This is epic and completely sums up the creationist perspective... unhinged. And it explains so much !

When we and the Earth were swiftly removed from the "Center of Creation" the "believer" crowd went nutty and have been so ever since.
